Sky: Children Of The Light Breaks World Guinness Record For Most Users In A Concert-Themed Virtual World
More than 10,000 players took part during Gamescom.
Well, it happened. Not long ago, we told you that Sky: Children of the Light developer thatgamecompany was planning an attempt at taking the title for Most Users in a Concert-Themed Virtual World during Gamescom, and they’ve done just that. The event hosted more than 10,000 players – both online and in person at Gamescom – who gathered in an in-game arena for a concert.
The event was made possible using thatgamecompany’s proprietary technology and Amazon Web Service’s back-end support. This is at least the second time the game has hosted one of these massive concert events. The last time was two years ago when the game launched on the Nintendo Switch.
