Shadow Arena Breaks Out The Banhammer And Adds Another Hero
If you're a fan of the Black Desert Online-themed battle royale, Shadow Arena, we have some good news and... well... good or bad news, depending on who you are. The good news is that a new hero has been added to the game. The bad news (if you've been cheating) is that you've very possibly been banned. Of course, if you're being a good gaming citizen and would rather not play against cheaters, that's great news.
The Shadow Arena devs announced the bans in a post on Steam where they listed over 100 ban-ees -- although some of the names on the list appear to be repeats. Offenses include making and using unauthorized programs and a case of match fixing. Most of the bans appear to be permanent while the four individuals involved in the matchfixing incident recieved a 15 day ban.
As for the new Hero, players can now pick up Tagahl Sherekhan. In celebration of the new release, Pearl Abyss is offering all players a free [Event] Hero Selection Coupon via the game's Steam Store. Players will just need to be sure to pick up the the coupon before July 9.
In additon, a second event is currently running, in which playes can earn a Tagahl Dragon Hunter skin by writing a guide on their favorite Hero. Details on both events are available on Steam.
