Set Up A Base In The Outlands As The Rogue Frontier Update Launches In Albion Online Today
It’s time to meet the Smugglers.
Today, Sandbox Interactive released the first major content update of 2025 for Albion Online. Titled Rogue Frontier, the update introduces a new faction to the MMORPG: the Smugglers. The new faction is accompanied by new activities and rewards. A big benefit of dealing with the Smuggler faction is the Smuggler’s Dens, which allow solo and small-scale groups of players to be based in the Outlands. Players can also take advantage of the Smuggler’s Network market system.
Also included in the update are some quality-of-life changes. Among these is the Bank Overview feature which allows players to view bank tabs without having to go to a specific location in Albion. New Dynamic Resource Templates have also been added as has a new Creatures category in the Albion Journal. Detailed overviews of each of the new features are available on the Albion Online site.
Please note that as of the time of this writing, Albion Online servers have crashed and the team is working to get the game back up and running. You can follow updates on their X (formerly Twitter) account.
