Set Off On An Expedition To World Of Warcraft’s Newest Zone, The Siren Isle, As Blizz Looks Back On 2024

WoW Siren Isle Launch

The Siren Isle content update is live in World of Warcraft, introducing a new zone to the MMORPG for players to explore as well as two new campaign chapters; the Delaran epilogue and the lingering Shadows prologue to Undermine(d).

While exploring the Siren Isle, players will challenge a weekly rotation of enemies and attempt to find the truth behind some mysteries starting with what happened to the people who once lived in the region. These activities will earn players a new currency type, Flame Blessed Iron, which can be traded for a variety of items. Completing the Siren Isle introductory quest line will earn players a new ring as well. While exploring the island, players will collect items needed to help release a new storm crow mount, Thrayir.

In addition to the above, players will also find a new special assignment and a new public event available. The update also introduces new cosmetic options and other features.

In company-wide news, Blizzard has posted their look back at 2024. There's a number of fun stats revealed for most of Blizzard's titles, including a nod to 4.5 million spiders and nerubians killed in Warcraft and 480 million player deaths in Diablo IV.

For charity, Blizzard reveals that the Pink Mercy skin in Overwatch pulling in $12.3 million in donations for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
