Seekers Of Skyveil's MOBA-Inspired PvPvE Demo Comes To Steam Next Fest, Early Access Date Locked In

It's MOBA-like, but thing more "Escape from Tarkov" with MOBA gameplay instead of guns.

What happens when some previous Riot Games employees go off and work on a new game? You likely end up with a product that is inspired quite a bit by MOBAs like League of Legends. While Seekers of Skyveil certainly looks and controls quite a bit like a MOBA, it's probably more apt to compare the title to other extraction shooters like Escape from Tarkov...just without the guns.

Groups of 3 team up to hit the field and survive encounters with monsters and other squads of players while gathering up that epic loot and attempting to make it to extraction. In typical MOBA fashion, you'll select a hero for each match from a roster of dev-created characters. Each match will obviously play out differently with things getting more difficult the longer you stay on the map.

A new demo courtesy of Steam Next Fest is up right now and features all of the game's currently available heroes. Nothing is locked for this demo. It'll cost you nothing to try things out if you're curious.

On top of the demo, Elodie Games has also announced that Seekers of Skyveil will head to early access on March 3rd, which is (checks watch), literally next week. We still don't have cost details on early access, though. We'll have to wait on that portion. The team has previously said they don't plan to add any pay-to-win items, but based on the last time we heard anything on this front, we do expect a box fee.

If you took part in any previous tests, make sure to check out the list of updates made since then before heading into the fray.
