Second World of Tanks PS4 Beta This Weekend
Rev up your engines -- or maybe just your PlayStation 4 -- for some World of Tanks action this weekend! The second open beta for the game on Sony's console gets going this weekend, Jan. 8-10, and offers some sweet prizes to players just for logging in.
Beta testers will receive the T1E6-PS tank with blue camouflage and the chrome M22 Locust-PS, whose color scheme is meant to emulate the original PlayStation. The download is available now for most PS4 owners; a download link for UK players will be available in the near future.
Wargaming's also released a trailer, embedded above, which gets commentary from several happy developers extolling the virtues of the game, including new PvE content, the better graphics offered by the PS4 hardware, a new, huge, PS4-only map called Scorpion Pass, and the general real-world nature of World of Tanks' brand of warfare.
Are you planning to jump into the PS4 World of Tanks beta this weekend?
