Season 15 In Rocket League Makes Demos Louder And Tries To Make Things Less Salty
By "less salty" they're really just talking about changes to the Salty Shores map.
Season 15 kicks off in Rocket League tomorrow, June 5th. However, there's actually some changes that came today for those that enjoy Pysonix's limited time modes. The sports game will now allow private matches, custom tournaments, and Offline Exhibition matches to utilize modes like Gridiron, even if they aren't currently available event modes.
You'll have to wait until tomorrow for the real "meat and potatoes" of Season 15 to kick off. Additions include a revamped Salty Shores map where things are a bit less salty as sand and the beach is being replaced by vegetation and a skate park appearance.
The Season's main car attraction is the Nissan Fairlady Z RLE and Nissan Fairlady Z car bodies, both of which use the Dominus hitbox. Tournament rewards include 1D20 toppers and the Polyhedral Boost, and the audio that goes with demolitions has been changed so players will more readily know when their partners have been taken out of action for a few seconds.
You can pick up the Season Pass starting tomorrow and even add timestamps to your chat for easy replay reference on that awesome "What a Save!" someone just threw at you!
