Sandbox Multiplayer Conquest Game Myth Of Empires Heads Into Early Access
Offers everything from survival to siege warfare, on PvP and PvE servers.
Sandbox survival/war game Myth of Empires is now in early access on PC, developer Angela Game announced today. As we learned when we covered last month's beta announcement, MoE is a hodgepodge of several game styles, where you'll start with basic survival and then seek your fortune as a great warlord, leading armies to victory over a huge Asian-inspired continent.
Myth of Empires offers both PvP and PvE servers, as well as robust multiplayer elements like guilds and alliances to make your conquests that much easier. A vast range of siege engines for massive battles are available, including ballistas, catapults, trebuchets, and siege ladders, and what you can't craft or gather yourself you can have your subjects do for you.
The game's description on its Steam page seems to offer plenty of ways to advance, either as a "bloodthirsty warlord" or a "peaceful master." There are "16 stairs climb to nobility" and "25 developing directions to proceed" across a vast, 64 square-kilometer world. Surely, that's enough space for us to co-exist peacefully without the need for warfare, right? Right?
Myth of Empires' early access price is $29.99, though it's on sale until the 25th for $26.99, a 10% discount. You can learn more about the game on its website.
