Rust's Christmas Event Features Gifts Everywhere To Open And Gingerbread Cake Mines
Players can find resources, weapons, candy, and festive wearables before venturing into the underground dungeon.
Merry Rustmas!
Rust is ringing in the holiday season with its festive event, marked by a sale on the game and its DLC packs — offering discounts of up to 50% until the end of January. There are now gifts appearing throughout the survival game's world. Players can discover and open these gifts, containing a mix of resources, weapons, and candy. Festive wearables like Santa hats and reindeer antlers are available too, along with unique items such as a lick-able candy cane club and two types of stockings that fill up with loot when hung inside player bases.
In addition to the gift-filled festivities, Facepunch Studio has introduced Gingerbread Cake Mines. Gingerbread houses have mysteriously appeared, leading players to an underground dungeon. The Christmas Event also brings back the Rustmas Base Decoration Contest, where players can showcase their creativity and design skills by decorating their bases for a chance to win valuable in-game prizes.
