RuneScape's Updated 2024 Roadmap Includes A New Game Mode And Plenty Of Other Content
Say hello to Group Ironman mode.
Jagex has revealed a new roadmap for RuneScape and it's packed full of new content to keep players busy for the rest of the year.
It all kicks off with a new Story Quest this spring and the new seasonal event Blooming Burrow with a seasonal quest. A new Combat Boss and an environment update for Rellekka is also coming in the spring.
This summer sees the arrival of a new Archaeology Dig Site in Daemonheim, as well as The Beach seasonal event and a Pride special event. Later in the summer players can look forward to the new Boss Dungeon Sanctum of Rebirth, a skilling update for mining and smithing, new area tasks in the City of Um, and a 4th conjured Spirit for the Necromancer.
With Autumn comes two big updates with the first being a new Skilling Boss, and Runefest 2024. Then later in Autumn comes a new game mode, Group Ironman. Group Ironman mode provides a way to re-experience RuneScape with your friends, where success and skills are earned through gathering and crafting, without Grand Exchange, player trading, or PvP XP.
Then finally winter comes to RuneScape as a new story quest and the Christmas Village seasonal quest comes to the MMORPG.
You can watch the full VOD of the RuneScape roadmap livestream over on the RuneScape Twitch channel.
