RuneScape’s Skill Update Brings Changes To Firemaking & Fletching Skills
This update is far from a bed of roses.
There is a new Skill Update coming to RuneScape and this one is impacting two rather under-served skills–Firemaking and Fletching.
Players will need to head on over to Anachronia Farm, there they will find Prehistoric Potterington as she is embarking on a new project to rustle up high-yield fertilizer. She’s making use of the area’s smelliest resource, yes, that’s right, huge mounds of pungent dinosaur poop.
Players will want to hold their nose while they hit the new training stations where they can score some fantastic fletching components and lots of XP. In addition, players will have the chance to create best-in-slot T95 arrows and imbue them in one of four ways, making awesome Elder God Arrows with specific combat effects. These Elder God Arrows will be perfect with the new and upcoming T95 Bow that is said to arrive with the fifth Elder God boss this summer.
Players who are eager to get their hands dirty (literally) can visit Prehistoric Potterington and ask her about zygomites to begin this update's tutorial. Players will also need at least 82 Fletching or Firemaking to start the tutorial as well as having completed the Elder God Wars: Extinction quest. Also, Anachronia is a members-only area, so players will need to double check that their subscription is up to date before engaging in all the dino doo-doo fun. Players are more than welcome to head over to the official post to learn everything they need to before entering this smelly adventure.
