Fresh From Game Jam: RuneScape Showcases Graphical Updates, Quality Of Life Changes, And More
The Mods have been hard at work for June Game Jam.
Game Jam is back, a recurring event where J-Mods take one week to explore personal projects, community suggestions, and other ideas in Runescape. Let's take a look at some of the projects these mods have been working on.
Graphical updates are coming for Varrock Sewers, an area that was last updated in 2012 but has since been left behind following other updates. Mod Blkwitch is bringing some color and life to the old sewers.
Blkwitch has also begun working on an overworld refresh also geared towards bringing more life and color to certain areas of the game.
Mod Ramen is working on more customization to the Completionist Cape, providing the ability to choose your own particle colors for the cape.
Mod Shogun is hard at work on quality-of-life updates in the MMORPG, as is Mod Dorn. Mod Breezy is working on reworking aura icons. Mod Dragon is looking to update the starting armor of the different combat styles, while Mods Damo and Wov are working on updating the goblins' in-game model.
There's a ton of stuff going on during Runescape's June Game Jam, and you can check out the full list of items being worked on as well as more visual examples over on the official Runescape site.
