Core combat, melee, and more get love.
Jagex dropped a new update in RuneScape today – one that makes several improvements to the MMORPG’s combat. The updates, which are the result of working with the game’s community, make adjustments to core game mechanics like Hit Chance, Crit Strikes, and Damage Caps. It also introduces a revamped melee system that should make combat styles more accessible as well as improvements to to the UI.
In addition to making big changes to combat, this update also functions as the first move in creating a more community-focused RuneScape.
