RuneFest 2018: New Mobile Beta, World Event, And Expansions For Old School RuneScape
Jagex is touting that the "Biggest Ever RuneFest" occurred last weekend, and it came with it some major announcements that are sure to please RuneScape fans. At the top of the list is the RuneScape Mobile Member's Beta, which is available right now on Android. Jagex also took the opportunity to tout the Old School RuneScape Mobile Beta, which has been running all summer and launches in full on Oct. 30.
For core RuneScape players, there's a new World Event to partake of, Til Death Do Us Part, which unleashes the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse upon Gelinor, just in time for Halloween. Later this year or early next, Jagex will also bring a Mining and Smithing update to the game, along with new quests and adventures and the final part of the Elite Dungeons trilogy.
In Old School-land, players will be polled to see about their thoughts for a new expansion on Zeah, and a bunch more content in the elven city of Prifddinas, which launched in RuneScape in 2014. If successfully polled, both will be added to the game in 2019. Learn more about everything that transpired at RuneFest on the RuneScape site.
