Rogue Company Ending Support For Nintendo Switch
Switch players will need to link their account to play on another platform.
Rogue Company will be ending support on the Nintendo Switch on June 20th. The developers announced the news today in a blog post.
"This choice wasn’t made easily or without concern for our community," the blog post reads, "however we realized that the performance of our Switch port was not up to our standards, and we were unable to provide the level of support our players deserve. This shift allows us to provide players on other platforms better support & focus for their specific issues, as well as deliver updates with more flexibility and frequency whenever needed."
In-game purchases for real money are shut down as of today (April 11th), and Nintendo eShop purchases will be shut down as soon as possible.
In order to continue playing Rogue Company from where you left off on the Nintendo Switch, players must link their accounts using Hi-Rez account linking, after which play can be continued on another platform. There's a handy FAQ to help you with the linking process.
Condolences to those players who only have access to a Nintendo Switch.
