Robocraft 2 Releases Roadmap Featuring Optimization, Iteration, And Overall Improvements
There are lots of features and changes players can look forward to coming in Robocraft 2.
Following last week's sequel reveal, Robocraft 2 released a new roadmap today featuring what's coming soon, in development, and planned for the future. There seems to be quite a bit for players to look forward to.
The coming soon section starts off with backfilling for disconnected players, a feature I'm sure many players will be happy about. Thanks to community feedback, there will be an iteration on the 2nd multiplayer map. Also coming soon is aerodynamic drag based on vehicle speed, which will be paired later in the future with aerodynamic drag based on vehicle shape. Players can also look forward to a new Main Menu screen.
Highlights in the "In Development" section of the roadmap for Robocraft 2 in 2023 include optimizing frame-stalls, iteration on the 1st multiplayer map based on community feedback, battle XP, rewards, and leveling up.
Finally, further down the road is where players will be getting more optimization for FPS in multiplayer. Asian servers also make the list of things planned for down the road, along with a matchmaking system, a friends and party system, text chat, and voice chat. An item shop is also on the list.
It's still early for Robocraft 2, but it's good to see what appears to be a solid roadmap of what's coming.
