Riot Games Announces Cross-Game Summer Event, “Soul Fighter”, For The Entire Runeterra Universe
The event will be accompanied by a live event featuring prominent content creators.
On July 20, Riot Games will be kicking off a special cross-game event that will take place across League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, Wild Rift, and Legends of Runeterra. The "Soul Fighter" event will bring unique content to each of these titles.
With the exception of Legends of Runeterra, all the games listed will introduce new modes. League will launch an Arena mode, Teamfight Tactics will get “Soul Brawl”, and Wild Rift will launch “Tag Duel”. Each game will also introduce new skins and other cosmetics.
New champions will be introduced to League and Wild Rift. League players can look forward to Naafiri the Hound of a Hundred Bites while Wild Rift players will be getting Nilah the Joy Unbound. All games include event passes, special experiences, and more.
In addition to the in-game and online events, Riot is also hosting a special in-person event, pitting content creators against each other in in-game challenges. The one who comes out on top in the Soul Fighter: Fright Night event will earn the title of Fright Night Champion. The event will be aired on Twitch Monday, July 17 at 6:00 pm Pacific.
