League Of Legends Faker Bundle

Riot Games is inducting League of Legends player Lee ‘Faker’ Sang-hyeok into their Hall of Legends. In honor of this, they’re offering a Faker tribute bundle to players – as you do. Actually, they’re offering three bundles, with the most cost-friendly one being the Risen Legend Collection at about $40 (5430 RP). The bundle includes a Hall of Legends pass with multiple skins including Risen Legend LeBlank, emotes, and other items. It also includes a Takedown Counter Taunt, an orange and white Ahri skin, an emote, a banner, and an icon.

The next step up is the Immortalized Legend Bundle, which is the Risen Legend Collection with some skin transformations, finishers, and another Ahri skin added. This one runs somewhere around $250 or 32430 RP.

Then there’s the big bundles. Clocking in around $450 or 59250 RP, the Signature Immortalized Legend Collection includes the previous two bundles a “Final Boss Faker” title, and a Faker-themed signature move along with 100 pass levels, and other items.

Now, according to the FAQ on the League of Legends Hall of Legends site, Riot chose these prices to have something available for everyone – everyone being the “more casual fan” of the MOBA to those “looking to flex their fandom”. Not surprisingly, players aren’t exactly enthused by the bundle prices.

A short scroll through the League of Legends subreddit shows players not only irritated with the prices but also having them associated with Faker, who is “known for his generosity”. The same person who said that also pointed out that for the prices of the more expensive packages, they expected there to be something physical, like a statue, included.

Interestingly, the FAQ also states that the inductee gets a share of all sales, 30% in fact. While it’s great that they’re compensating these people for using their name to sell these packs, it’s worth wondering if Riot decided to set the prices so high to compensate for that 30%.
