Just two months after layoffs hit the company thanks to good ol' parent company EA, Respawn Entertainment has posted a job listing looking for a Game Design Director. The listing states that the project is in the early stages of development and requires "Significant professional experience designing Multiplayer FPS experiences".
The job listing can be found on LinkedIn and was pointed out on X by user @HazzadorGamin.

What exactly this new project is nobody knows, and it sounds like it's early enough that it could change significantly or get canceled on a whim.
What the replies to HazadorGamin's post are hoping for however is very clear. Most are hoping for Titanfall 3. You'll recall that Titanfall 2 was well received critically, but poor planning from EA put the release window right in between the release of a new Call of Duty and Battlefront games, a place no game wants to find itself, much less another shooter.
