Reminder: Call Of Duty: Warzone Caldera’s Closure Is Almost Upon Us
There are only two days left.
This post is just a bit of a reminder, as we first wrote about this back in June. Call of Duty: Warzone Caldera will be shuttering on September 21 to allow the developers working on it to focus their energy on content for newer CoD games, specifically the Warzone 2.0 battle royale free-to-play experience.
As noted in the previous post, players who purchased content in Caldera will still be able to use it, provided they’re playing Modern Warfare, Black Ops Cold War, or Vanguard. The purchased items won’t be carried into newer games.
If you’re wondering when, exactly, the game will close, we don’t have an exact time. The best guess is that it will go offline during the standard time update time. That would be 10:00 a.m. Pacific.
