Realm Royale's HITBOKS Patch Sets Out To Improve Hit Accuracy
Recently, Hi-Rez dropped another update for the Realm Royale alpha. While the update doesn't make any major additions (such as new characters) it does make several quality-of-life changes and bug fixes. Most notably, it implements a rework of hitboxes. With this update, hitboxes are more tightly aligned with the player's shape and animation, an adjustment that the developers hope will improve hit accuracy.
Other changes include adjusting skydiving controls to allow players to better determine where they will land, an update to headshot text colors, the removal of the emote keybind, and the addition of three languages to the game: Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, and Korean. In general gameplay, the update also changes starting health to 1500 and adjusts helmet stats to offer better headshot protection.
And.. of course there are plenty of bug fixes. You can check all of those out in the patch notes on Steam.
