Rainbow Six Siege’s Grim Joins Nighthaven With His Buzzing Insect-Like Drones
It’s not a bug, it’s a feature.
Rainbow Six Siege’s Operation Brutal Swarm invites a brand-new Singaporean Attacker, Grim. Grim was raised in a survivalist household in Jurong, Singapore and now is joining Nighthaven with one simple objective–to get the job done.
Grim uses an array of insect-like drones to immobilize enemies that allow Grim to sleuth in the shadows while he performs his attacks. Grim’s gadget is the Kawan Hive Launcher. Five canisters will deploy a bulletproof device that releases a swarm of bees. Defenders that happen to walk by the swarm will get pinged. Grim will most likely pair well with a hard breacher like Ace, Maverick, or Thermite.
Grim’s loadout does have a few issues that players should prepare to deal with, though. One, Grim can only use the P229 Handgun as his secondary weapon as there are no options to switch. Then his gadget, while useful, is not throwable, which could put the character at a disadvantage later on. Players excited to meet Grim can do so in the video below.
