PvP Season 6 Starts In Star Wars: The Old Republic With Game Update 7.5
Items inspired by the upcoming The Acolyte series are available, too.
Welcome to the “Great Pirate Hunt.”
PvP Season 6 commences in Star Wars: The Old Republic with the launch of Game Update 7.5 “Desperate Defiance,” marking a shift where PvP Seasons will align directly with game updates. This season extends for 16 weeks, up from the previous 12, and introduces a higher level cap of 30 compared to the prior 25. Additionally, the total points required to complete the PvP Season have been increased to 9000 from 7000; and the reward track has Warzone Medpacs and Adrenals now.
Free-to-Play and Preferred players will receive four weekly objectives, while Subscribers will have six. All players can complete up to four objectives per week to progress on the MMORPG's reward track. The new rewards include armor sets, decorations, titles, and an emote, alongside cosmetic items such as flags, armors, and decorations.
Two vendors, Tullek and Giradda the Hutt, will offer items throughout the season, too. Tullek will update his inventory with new rewards at the season's start, featuring items such as armor lockboxes, flags, and decorations. Meanwhile, Giradda the Hutt's inventory will have rewards from the previous PvP season, "Pirate's Plunder," alongside new additions like armor lockboxes and flair items. The rotation of Giradda's inventory groups will occur weekly, with each group available for one week before cycling out for three weeks during the weekly reset.
Also, in anticipation of the upcoming premiere of Star Wars: The Acolyte on Disney+ on June 4, the MMORPG is introducing items inspired by the series. These include the Dark Harbinger Armor Set, Wookiee Jedi-inspired hairstyle and beard customizations, and the Serpent’s Tongue Vibroblade (all available on the Cartel Market).
