Settlers Of Kalguur Launch

Soon, very soon, the Settlers Of Kalguur League will go live in Path of Exile and you’ll all be busy taking control of your own port town. Things are looking up for the people of Wraeclast.

As we’re sure anyone who plays the ARPG MMO knows, all servers are currently down and in the restart cycle. While the little countdown timer says players have less than two hours to wait, notices below that are stating a three-hour launch window. Of course, that’s if all things go as they should.

If you’ve been away from Path of Exile for a while, you might be surprised to know that when Settlers of Kalguur drops today, it will introduce city management to the game. Don’t worry, you’re not stuck in town dealing with things all the time, that’s what delegation is for, friends.

You will be hiring people and doing what you can to make sure things run smoothly – and that a profit is made - but you’ll still be going out there and killing all kinds of monsters. In fact, that’s one of the ways you ensure the people in your town have what they need to do their jobs. They can’t go mine precious ore if the area is swamped by hungry creatures. If you’d like more information on this system, we have a write-up on the new League on our site. The PoE team has also provided an up-to-date FAQ on the PoE site.

Of course, a new Path of Exile League means new Challenge Rewards. Grinding Gear Games highlighted these a few days ago. You can see the full video below. Gotta say, some of them are rather cool looking.
