PSO2: NGS Global Closed Beta Client Pre-Download Should Be Available Later Today
If you're anxious to get the ball rolling with the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Global Closed Beta (and you're willing to deal with the Microsoft store), then we have a bit of good news for you. According to the PSO2-Global Twitter account, the client pre-download should be available around 9 PM Eastern / 6 PM Pacific today. Keep in mind this is an estimate, so it could be earlier...it could be later.

If you haven't already signed up, you'll need to go ahead and do that. Just go to the PSO2:NGS site and apply. The beta event is slated for May 14 (this coming Friday). So you don't have a lot of time left to sign up.
In addition to the client pre-download, don't forget that the character creator will be available to download the benchmark test / character creator so you can spend all those hours creating the perfect character before the game launches in June.
