PSO2: New Genesis Character Creator And Benchmark Test Is Now Available
It's time! Today, players can install the Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis benchmark test to determine whether or not the game will run on their systems. Since it also happens to be the character creator, that means we can get a jump start on that 15+ hour character creation process -- if that's your thing. Get that character made and ready to go when the game launches in June.
The benchmark is available to download via the PSO2 site, and it has some (emphasis on "some") system requirements of its own. It doesn't specify CPU, GPU or RAM requirements, but does note that players need Windows 8.1 64 bit or Windows 10 64 bit, and around 2.8 GB of HD space to install.
Once you have everything set up, it should give you an idea as to whether or not your system can handle the full game. That said, the website does state that the results are an indicator and not a guarantee.
