"PSO2 Day" Is Being Revamped And That Means More For NGS Players, Including More Content
More XP, more rare rate drops, SG, Special Scratch Tickets, and other goodies.
Sega dropped a new NGS Headline video today, offering players of Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis insights as to what's in store for the MMORPG. The latest video offers information on a new high-difficulty quest, the Major Target Suppression Mission: Planetcrush Blitz – Rank 2. The target of this mission is "Malignant Dark Falz Dalion", evolved from the Rank 1 version players are familiar with today. Its move set has been enhanced and it’s ready with new abilities. The fight is available for up to four players and will require a very high battle power to take on.
A new limited-time quest is slated to kick off on September 10. Titled "Zenith Firefight", this quest takes place on top of Leciel and is a series of battles against a variety of opponents, including a new Ruinous boss – Ruine Angele. A high version of this quest, named Polaris Firefight, will also be available, offering players the chance to take on Ruine Angele in single combat.
There’s also one more limited-time quest, "Drill: Unidentified Region X2048". This quest becomes available on September 24 and will have players competing against each other to earn Quest Points. Rewards include N-augment Transfer Pass Vouchers, Special Scratch Tickets, and titles.
Aside from the new quests, the update also introduces a revamped version of PSO2 Day. Twice a month – the 1st to the 3rd and the 21st to the 23rd – XP will be increased by 50% and rare drop rates will increase by 100%. Players will also receive 50 SG, two Special Scratch Tickets, 1 (5-day) Material Storage Use, and 2 N-Color-Change Passes. Premium players will, of course, receive additional goodies.
