PSA: GOG Is Giving Away Copies Of Metro: Last Light Redux
Well, it looks like we have another free game offering for y'all today. As part of their winter sale -- because it's all about winter sales right now -- GOG is offering up a DRM free copy of the post-apocalyptic survival-shooter Metro: Last Light. No, this isn't the same Metro the EGS was giving away a few days ago.
You'll have just around 40 hours at the time of this posting to claim your copy of the game. And, of course, it will require you to have a GOG account. That said, as with most games on GOG, your copy will be DRM free and yours forever.
As with previous GOG giveaways, the actual process of getting the game can be a bit funky, but this is the easiest way to go about it: Go to the main GOG page and make sure you're logged in. Scroll down until you see the Metro: Last Light Redux banner. From there, click the "Yes, and claim the game" green button. Don't click anywhere else on the banner or it'll take you to the game's page and the green button there only takes you back to the main GOG page. (I know. It's weird.) Once you've clicked the button on the banner, it will give you a "success" message.
Just keep in mind, you do need to be logged in before you start or you'll have to go through the process a second time.
