PSA: Football Manager 2020 And Assassin's Creed Odyssey Free For A Limited Time
Here at MMOBomb, we don't typically spend too much space on games that are temporarily free -- short-term "free for a weekend"-type deals, as opposed to "claim it now, get it free forever" offers like the Epic Games Store (and sometimes Steam) typically do. But, with so many people staying indoors these days, we thought we'd take the time today to highlight a pair of very popular games that are free for a limited time. Hey, it's that or binge even more Netflix.
Football Manager 2020 may seem like a rather dry simulation of the world's most popular sport, also known as "soccer," but it's also one of the most popular games in the world. It's consistently a top 10 game on Steam, averaging nearly 50,000 simultaneous players. You can play it for free now until March 25 by downloading it from Steam.
If you prefer something a little more active to keep you busy over the weekend, check out Ubisoft's AAA title Assassin's Creed Odyssey, which is free over the weekend, from Thursday, March 19 to Sunday, March 22 on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Details for how to obtain that game for the platform of your choice can be found on the Assassin's Creed website. If you decide to continue your journey, you can pick up the game for up to 75% off, depending on where you get it.
No matter what you choose, whether it's one of these games or something else, it's nice to at least know you'll have some new, free entertainment options over the weekend. And, if the screenshot above is any indication, both games would seem to feature an exceptional amount of kicking.
