Project: Gorgon Update August

A new update is available for Elder Game’s MMORPG Project: Gorgon, which is introducing changes intended to make life better for players. The bulk of the update consists of balances, bug fixes, and quality-of-life changes. That said, it does include two rather specific things. The first is enhancements for Necromancers. The second is new cosmetic item slots for mounts.

Necromancers have received some definite love in this update, with adjustments to Necromancer treasure effects and abilities. These more or less buff the summoned undead minions, enhancing their potency and versatility. Damage for summoned skeletons has been increased and undead pets have improved health restoration. The update also introduces a new recipe for bulk crafting of Necromancy Dusk.

On the mount front, two new cosmetic item slots have been added – the Banner slot and the Cosmetic slot allow players to add decorations to their mounts. These include banners, garlands, and reins. Of course, this means new cosmetic items have been introduced as well. The reins will likely come in very handy as “pouch reins” have been introduced, offering players easy access to a saddlebag.

As for the rest of the update, AoE damage mechanics have been overhauled, monster buffs have been adjusted, and a new Burst Radius Bonus system has been introduced. There are also several bug fixes and general tweaks. The full patch notes are available on the Project: Gorgon forums.
