Project: Gorgon Keeps Trucking For Now, And Even Adds Horseracing
The team staved of closure for a bit longer...long enough to add quite a bit this week.
After basically being saved by its own fans and getting a permenant price discount, Project: Gorgon keeps on trucking with a brand new update. While the MMORPG's future is still a bit rocky long-term, if you're already playing, you've got a brand new update to check out.
Want to see a long page of patch notes? Cool, check them out on the official forums.
Want something a bit shorter? Here we go!
Horse racing has been added. Bet you didn't see that coming. It's literally my favorite part of the update. Hit up one of 3 Race Flags and giddy-up! Run through glow-y rings, some speed you up and some slow you down. Make it to the finish line to climb the leaderboards. You know the drill. Yep, kind of awesome.
Combat has received a ton of changes. A few notable ones being monsters now buffing all monsters around them, not just themselves, and some of these buffs have animation changes to make them more identifiable. Abilities with a longer cast time are now no longer overridden by using a new ability use, either.
The sheer number of updates is extensive and a lot of quality-of-life improvements have been made, too...particularly around inventory and looting. You'll want to check them out.
Don't forget those VIP rewards if you're a subscriber. You'll be getting pets, titles, dyes, and more over the next few months.
