Progression In Spectre Divide Too Slow? The Team Agrees And Just Buffed It, In Some Places By Over 200%
Unlock those endorsements quite a bit faster now.
While still trending at "Mixed" reviews on Steam, Spectre Divide has managed to keep over 10K players in the game at times as Mountaintop Studios navigates the tricky dealings of a F2P tactical shooter's launch. If you're curious about the game and its "Duality" mechanic, we just posted Ethos' First Look video this morning, so hit it with a like!
If you've already been playing, though, and felt like progression was a bit of a slog, the devs agree with you and just patched in some fixes on that front. This is certainly welcome news as some of those additional Sponsors are only available after sinking some time into the game. Now they should be able to be unlocked a little faster. XP and Fame gains from Daily and Weekly contracts has been increased to:
- Round Played: increased from 100 to 300
- Daily Goals: increased from 3,000 to 6,000
- Weekly Goals: increased from 12,000 to 24,000
- Team Goals: varies by quest, but generally doubled
A few other notable fixes and changes have also made their way into Spectre Divide in the patch including the ability forfeit starting in Round 2, the ability to start a custom match alone to practice, a fix to reduce disconnects, and a fix to reporting at the end of the match were all implemented.
There's still a few things the team has to work out and you can check out the linked post above to see the list of known issues Mountaintop Studios is now working on.
