Preview How "Fantastic" Season 1 Of Marvel Rivals Will Be When It Launches This Week
You only have to wait until Friday for the first official season to start.
We've known the tease for the first season in Marvel Rivals was coming and now it's here. The hero-shooter dropped the season's new trailer and, as expected, we get a look at the Fantastic Four as they're set to arrive with the season on December 10th.
Season 1, "Eternal Night Falls", gets a bit of a description via the game's X account:
"Darkness engulfs New York as the Timestream Entanglement leaves Doctor Strange trapped in the Entangled Astral Plane, scattering the Darkhold pages. Dracula and Doctor Doom disrupt the moon’s orbit, plunging the city into eternal night and unleashing an army of vampiric creatures. With the world on the brink, the Fantastic Four join forces with iconic Marvel heroes, standing together in the epic battle to break the mystical darkness with science. Ignite the battle against Dracula with the Fantastic Four in Marvel Rivals!"
I'm all for Dracula content in ANY game, but seeing the Dark Prince mentioned tells me that we may also end up seeing Blade, something that was previously revealed via some datamining. We also get peeks at the New York map!
The team will be holding a preview stream to show off Mister Fantastic and Invisible Woman tomorrow, the 7th, at 2PST courtesy of a few of the game's content creators.
