Prepare Yourselves For Adventure In Albion Online’s Rough And Tumble “Rogue Frontier” Update
The update improves the Outlands experience.
Albion Online’s next update is looking for the most adventurous of players to head into the “rugged wilds”. The new update, title ‘Rogue Frontier’ is slated to launch on February 3 and will bring new improvements to the Outlands, including new gameplay for solo players and small groups.
Rogue Frontier introduces the Smugglers to the MMORPG. This is a group of outcasts who no longer want anything to do with the rules set forth by the Royal Continent and have decided that the Outlands are a better option for them. They’ve established Smuggler’s Dens where players can now set up shop and make use of the Smuggler’s Network, which connects various marketplaces and creates new trade routes in the Outlands.
A new faction is also introduced. They exist as part of the Smugglers and require help in fighting off the Royal forces. The help is pretty standard stuff: recover items, rescue Smugglers, deliver items, etc. Of course, completing these activities earns players faction standing with the group as well as rewards.
An additional feature included in the upcoming update is the Bank Overview, which allows players to view items stored in bank tabs no matter where they are in Albion. Other new features include Kill Trophies, Dynamic Resource Templates, and a new Creatures category in the Albion Journal. More information on these is available on the Albion Online site.
