Prepare For the Lure Of Darkness Update In EverQuest 2 Later This Month
The Beast’r Eggstravaganza kicks off this month as well.
Following yesterday’s EverQuest Producer’s Letter is the EverQuest II Producer’s Letter right on its heels. As always, the first part of the letter discusses recent achievements and reviews the F2P MMORPGs three-month roadmap running from January to March before moving on to discuss what’s to come between now and the end of June.
The big highlight in the updated three-month roadmap is the launch of GU128, otherwise known as Lure of Darkness, launching on April 8 at noon Pacific. In this new update, a cult of Void zealots known as the Cult of Vul is pulling in new members with promises to help them tap the power of the Void. These claims appeal to a wide range of people. In addition, a Void anchor has been constructed in the Sodden Archipelago, making things even worse.
Another highlight of the roadmap is the launch of a new Origins PvP server in June. The server will kick things off in The Shattered Lands era and include the 2006 balancing and systems.
