Post-apocalyptic Sci-fi Anime RPG Tower Of Fantasy Launching Later This Year
Closed beta coming in April, and you can get a key via social media.
Tower of Fantasy is an anime-inspired "shared open-world RPG" -- don't call it an MMORPG! -- coming later this year from publisher Level Infinite and developer Hotta Studio. In the distant future, humans have left Earth for the planet of Aida, which offered an unlimited energy source, Omnium, via the comet Mara. It just had the little issue of "Omnium radiation," there was a disaster, and now Aida is a post-apocalyptic ruin. Humans mess everything up.
The trailer for Tower of Fantasy is pretty, giving me a combo Genshin Impact/Phantasy Star Online 2 vibe. The game offers a vast open world to explore, characters with unique weapons and gameplay styles, and the ability to party up with friends.
Some of the characters profiled on the Tower of Fantasy website include sword fighter Meryl, easy-going gunslinger Samir, sea-loving scientist Shiro, and 15-year-old computer genius Zero.
Tower of Fantasy will launch for PC and mobile devices later in 2022. A closed beta is set to kick off in April, and you can take part by participating in the key giveaways on the official Tower of Fantasy Twitter account and Facebook page.
