Polish Tanks Arriving In World Of Tanks August 29 While Wargaming Turns 20!
World of Tanks is adding a whole new set of machines from Poland to its lineup in the August 29th update. The update will add 10 new tanks. These will include tanks like the KSUST, two tanks designed by renowned Polish engineer Edumnd Habich, and tanks from Markowski, Tyszkiewicz, and Lewandowski.
The update also introduces the new Studzianki map, inspired by the largest armored battle that occurred in Poland during World War II. Every time players enter battle on this map, they'll be greeted with a special version of a famous Polish folk song -- "In My Garden" -- recorded by the band Żywiołak.
In honor of the release, Wargaming is doing something special for Polish players, starting by giving them 3 days of premium account time. For those who have not played for a while, there will also be an opportunity to get up to 15 days of premium time. Players will also be able to purchase a premium Polish tank, the Tier VIII 50 TB prototype.
Today also holds more good news for Wargaming. All this month, the company is celebrating its 20th anniversary. Over the past two decades, Wargaming has had over 200 million players go to war as tankers, pilots, and commanders. So, they're offering special activities and events to players in each of their games. To find out what is being done in your game of choice, be sure to head to the appropriate site.
