PlayStation Version Of Wayfinder Fully Transferred To Airship Syndicate, Echoes Update In Final Testing
And yes, the Xbox version is still slated for a fall release.
Just a day after the Wayfinder team released a preview of the plethora of quality-of-life changes coming to the action RPG, the Airship Syndicate team has confirmed that ownership of the PlayStation client has been transferred successfully to the company. This means that Digital Extremes is officially no longer part of the console version and the path is clear for console players to finally receive the Echoes update.
PlayStation 5 Wayfinders!
We received word from Sony that the transfer of service is complete.
We'll continue testing our latest patch on PlayStation 5 and will give an update when the patch has moved into Sony's full certification.

We still don't know the exact date that the update will push to console players, but the team confirmed that final testing of the client's update is already underway, so it shouldn't be too much longer.
If you bought into the game's early access prior to the conversion away from MMO status, you will not have to pay anything extra to get the fully updated version of Wayfinder.
By the way, the Xbox version of Wayfinder is still slated to be released this fall.
