Developer Playful Corp. announced the official launch date for its open-world sandbox game Creativerse today. The voxel-based game will be exiting Steam Early Access and become publicly available as a free-to-play game on May 8. At that point, everyone can join the more than 2.6 million players that particpated in Early Access.

While the game is launching on that date, that does not mean the developers are done with their work. Development will continue post-launch, focusing on tools that will allow players to build faster and in an easier fashion. Creativerse will feature a gigantic open world filled with a variety of unique regions and areas for players to explore. In addition, there is a high quantity of materials, tools, and ways to craft -- including blueprints.

More information on Creativerse is available on its official site or via Steam.

Its pretty dam obvious no one can beat Minecraft as so many copy it. What I say is wake up minecraft and start going with the trend of the modders, that's why these copy cat games pour in there tons! & try other stuff! because minecraft sits onits hands way too much. Its like they don't seem to want to do any changes, till its too late for the change. Minecraft needs to get with it the plan & keep upgrading its idea.
