Play The Skull And Bones Open Beta Now Through Sunday And See If The Game Is For You
Get your hands on one of the most divisive games of the year.
Whether you're a fan of Skull and Bones or are a bit trepidatious due to the myriad of delays, behind-the-scenes rumblings, or other red flags, now is the time to try the pirate game for free and see what it has to offer.
The Skull and Bones Open Beta will be running throughout the weekend, from February 8th through the 11th. All progress will carry over to the live game launch on the 16th. The Skull and Bones Open Beta is available on PC via Ubisoft Connect or the Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox X|S.
During the Skull and Bones Open Beta, you can play without restrictions up until Tier 6 Rank 1 Infamy Brigand. You'll still be able to explore the world afterward, you just won't progress any further until the game launches.
I for one will be checking out Skull and Bones due to sheer morbid curiosity, as the development history of the game has me very concerned about the state of the game. Maybe it will prove me wrong. Who knows.
