PlanetSide 2 Players Honor Fallen Comrade
You never hope for a tragedy, but sometimes one can lead to a beautiful moment. Last week, a PlanetSide 2 player who goes by the in-game name of Ezrason was struck in a hit-and-run accident. He passed away on July 22.
He enjoyed the game with his older brother, who posted about Ezrason on Reddit on Friday and tried to arrange a memorial for him Saturday evening on the Sanctuary Emerald Server. The event wound up being so popular that four instances of the Sanctuary needed to be created to house all the players.
It was followed up by a huge battle, parts of which you can see in the video below -- a battle that "broke the server," according to one player. I don't really have anything else witty to add on top of that, so I'll just offer add my condolences to the pile and wrap it up there.
