PlanetSide 2 Drops Promised Sunderer Rework, Adds New Modules
The changes were teased last year.
It’s been seven months since the PlanetSide 2 Development Update post announced a Sunderer rework, addressing complaints from players of the shooter. Among those issues was the fact that the Sunderer vehicle was too easy to destroy and it was going to require a bit of work to fix it.
Now, that time has come. A PC update released, addressing the Sunderer issues and updating it with four new modules. In addition, it now has a new cargo slot, a shield dome, a new point defense module, new armor, and more. Also, Stealth is now available at level 1.
A brief rundown of the Sunderer changes can be seen in the video below. If you’d like something with more detail, it’s worth hitting up the Development Update from last December as well as the update’s patch notes.
