Pick A PWI Game You Like, Your ZEN Wallet is Going Away Soon
If you're not familiar with the Perfect World ZEN wallet used on their ARC platform here's a bit of a recap. The wallet functions much like a...well wallet does. You use real money to buy ZEN (PWI's cash shop currency), ZEN is stored in your account wallet, and you can use that ZEN to purchase items in any PWI game. Transfer a few ZEN from your wallet to the game you want to spend it in and you're all set.
If you have ZEN in that wallet right now though you may want to pick a game to dump any remaining ZEN into right now. The wallet system is going away. Soon. When? Yeah, no one seems to know yet. Customers that have ZEN in their wallets right now have started to receive emails lately suggesting they move that ZEN to a specific game but haven't exactly been provided with details that players want to know, like, you know, a deadline to do so or even why the system is going away
The forums have plenty of good questions about the upcoming change, but the most important is probably "What happens to my ZEN if I don't pick a game to move it to in time? Do I simply lose currency I paid real money for?"
An exact answer hasn't been given yet, but in a forum post from Sparkiesoft, it seems users won't lose their money if they fail to move their ZEN, but they may have to deal with support to get the currency back after the wallet system goes away.
