Phantasy Star Online 2: NGS Kicks Off Giant Mutants Part 2 Event Tomorrow, Team Teases Slayer Class
There are other events coming later in the month.
As we roll into March, Sega wants players to know what to expect from the coming month in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. As is generally the case, there will be new scratch tickets, new weapons and augments, and more. There will also be several events – starting tomorrow.
The second half of the Giant Mutant event kicks off March 1 with new giant mutants appearing in different sectors – such as a Gorongo Geo spawn in North Aelio and South Kvaris and a Waulon Geo in Central Retem and at Dreisen Plant.
A second event, celebrating Spring, will begin on March 8. Central City and other areas will be decorated in all new decor and special new Rappies will be on the move. This will be the Hululu Rappy and the Hululu Emperappy. As always, they’re very cute, but you know how that goes. The event will introduce new 8-star weapons and co-op trials that players can complete with special characters. More details on this month's content can be found on the PSO2 site.
In addition to the March overview, the PSO2:NGS team also announced via Twitter that a new Gunblade class is on its way. The Slayer won’t land until April, but you can get a peek at it in the tweet and stream below.

The game will be a “premium product”.

Honestly, I didn't cover it yesterday because I thought it was a joke.

Why does Rift only run these recurring events over one weekend each time?
