Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis’s Slayer Has Arrived
Just in time for the second anniversary.
After all the teasing and the post-update wait, the Slayer has arrived in Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis. The Slayer is the first class in the Gunblade category, and players interested in picking up the new class should already have their first weapon as they were able to begin work on that when the expansion dropped on April 5.
This new class is combo-capable and has two-level charge ranged attacks. The latter allows players to quickly move in on enemies or perform a rushing attack, among other things. Slayer abilities are ideal for both solo and group content, relying heavily on mobility – even offering an escape when necessary. One ability can help keep enemies at bay by creating a shockwave. This can be done on the ground or in mid-air. When used mid-air, the player will slam into the ground before the shockwave is released. Players can see the MMORPG's Slayer in action in the video below.
