Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Drops New Mining Base Defense Urgent Quest
A fresh Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis update has made its way into the wild, adding more new content to the game. Among the things added are new enemies, new gear, and even a new Urgent Quest -- "Mining Rig Defense: Aelio".
The new Urgent Quest tasks players with defending mining rigs from waves of enemy attacks while also completing other goals. You can't just stand there and beat on the bad guys, you're also going to need to collect bits of a Crystalized Photon called Collectasigne. This material can then be used to repair mining rigs or even deploy barrier shields. Players will also be able to make use of mobile canons delivered via special weapon transports while defending the rigs. These are set out across the Defense Quest field.
As for the new enemies, only one -- the Destragas -- was highlighted in the update announcement and no details were offered on it. So, it's up to you to log in and play to see it. Images of the new fashion and gear available in this update are available in the announcement.
Time to team up & ante up defensive strategy with the new Urgent Quest 'Mining Base Defense: Aelio'! 🌴💫✨
Keep an eye out for in-game alerts for this UQ! Which class will you be using?
