Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis April Update Takes Players To A Floating Island And Adds Slayer
Details on the update and the new Slayer Class were revealed in today’s NGS Headline stream.
Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis players have a few things to look forward to in April. Not only are the new Slayer class and the related Gunblade weapon category dropping into the MMORPG, but players will be headed to the floating island of Leceil. The game is also celebrating its 2nd anniversary beginning April 19, so there’s a lot to look forward to next month.
Today, Sega provided players with more details on the new class and other new content during the NGS Headline stream. The new Slayer class arrives in the game on April 12. Prior to that, players will be able to pick up the new Gunblade weapon category via in-game drops or competing tasks on April 5. Don’t rush it, though, since they won’t be able to be equipped and the tasks associated with them won’t be available until the Slayer drops.
As mentioned, the players will be headed to a new floating island. This island arrives with the rest of the game’s content update on April 5. How they’ll be getting there is something players will have to wait to discover, but we’re sure it will be interesting.
