Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis Announces New Collaboration With Sonic Colors: Ultimate
Get ready for the return of Sonic!
Two new limited-time campaigns are coming to Phantasy Star Online 2: New Genesis in September. The first is a new crossover event with Sonic Colors: Ultimate while the other is the Autumn event. Both begin on September 1 and run through September 28,so you should have plenty of time to take part and get your hands on some goodies.
For the Sonic Colors event, which is intended to celebrate the launch of Sonic Colors: Ultimate, players will be rewarded with special Sonic-themed items for logging in seven days. These days don’t have to be consecutive. Just make sure you do it between the 1st and the 28th. Players will also receive additional items as gifts when they make purchases using ARKS Cash. This includes Sonic-themed Motion cosmetic items like the Dash Motion Sonic Speed Dash and Tails’ Propeller motion when gliding.
The second event celebrates the upcoming Autumn Equinox. During this event, players will receive rewards by earning and redeeming seasonal campaign currency. This currency is obtained by completing daily tasks and completing seasonal enemies. Players will even get a double dose of rewards as the seasonal enemies will change and new rewards are added. Players are also encouraged to be sure to log in for seven different days between September 15 and September 28 for rewards. (This isn’t to be confused with the other seven-day login event tied to the Sonic Colors: Ultimate collaboration.)
