Phantasy Star Online 2 Beta Runs Feb. 7-8, Includes In-game Concert
I guess Sega wasn't kidding when it said that a beta date announcement for Phantasy Star Online 2 on the Xbox One would be coming "soon." Today, we received the news that the test would commence on Friday, Feb. 7 at 5:00 p.m. PST and conclude Saturday, Feb. 8 at 11:59 a.m. PST.
The beta test will include four races and nine classes, full English voice acting and text, and players will retain their progress when the game launches. Your first login will net you a Photon Halo B accessory and Beauty Salon Free Pass consumable, with daily rewards in the form of various XP boosts; you can complete Urgent Quests for even more rewards. There's even an in-game concert on Saturday night, at 8:00 p.m. PST.
There's still time to get access to the closed beta. The rather detailed instructions, which include downloading the Xbox Insider App, can be found on the PSO2 Xbox site.
