Perfect World Sequel To See International Release On Multiple Platforms
We've had Perfect World, and we'll soon have New World from Amazon, but what if we combined the two and made "Perfect New World"?
That appears to be the working title of the next entry using the Perfect World IP, which was announced by Perfect World Entertainment earlier this week at a presentation in China. As reported by GamerBraves, Perfect New World will be an "open-world MMORPG that uses Unreal Engine 4" launching for mobile devices, consoles, and PCs, with the console version, at least, having an international release. There is no release date at this time.
Perfect World's plus-sized conference this week saw the developer and publisher announce about 30 titles, including new games based on One Punch Man, Million Arthur, and a Persona 5 mobile game. Most of the titles probably won't see the light of day in the West, but the promise of an "international" release for Perfect New World is intriguing. The original is certainly showing its age, so a modern sequel -- ideally with a better name -- could be a winner.
Whether or not you ever played the original Perfect World, might you be interested in a more modern sequel? Let us know in the comments!
